After joining other travellers in Launceston, we stop at the sweetly fragranced, rolling purple hills of the Bridestowe Estate Lavender Farm (seasonal).  Continuing through the changing landscape of heritage farms, rainforest and mining towns  we spend the afternoon at the breathtaking Bay of Fires.  Here you can take a stroll along the gleaming white sands or a swim in the clear turquoise water (weather permitting).  Tonight we stay at in the seaside township of Bicheno.  After dinner, you’ll have the opportunity to see little penguins nesting (optional and at own expense).  (LD)
